Shipping and Returns

PLEASE NOTE AT PRESENT WE ONLY ACCEPT ORDERS TO MAINLAND UK ADDRESSES

All purchases that are £15.00 or over in value and are 15Kgs or less in any one order qualify for a UK mainland FREE delivery option. Please allow us a full 5 working days to process your order if the free delivery option is selected, realistically though we try to process all orders within a couple of days. Items will be delivered using either Royal Mail or Interlink Express and may arrive in multiple consignments over a time period.

You of course may select a paid for delivery option. This will ensure your order is prioritised; where possible orders will be satisfied within 1 working day. (In stock items - order received before midday)

The exact shipping cost of your potential order can be seen at any time by adding your desired items to the shopping basket. On the shopping basket page there is a shipping cost calculator. The calculator will show all available options in respect of the different shipping methods available for your order. Select your Country from the drop down menu and click on recalculate.

Interlink Express and Initial City Link are our courier services and they aim to deliver the next working day in the UK. Please help us to help you by providing your full address details and a contact number where possible. You will need to ensure that someone is available to receive and sign for your order. Our couriers will not leave consignments without a signature for security reasons. Please note that we do not guarantee next day delivery although we of course do our utmost to ensure the fastest delivery possible.

If the Interlink driver is unable to deliver to you because there is nobody to receive your parcel, they will leave you a card with your consignment number and your local Interlink depot number so that you can arrange for re-delivery or collection from the depot.

Unclaimed and undelivered consignments will be returned to us. You will be liable for the return charge at the same rate as your original delivery charge nothwithstanding if free delivery is selected. Free delivery, returned parcels, will be charged at the current courier rate. (These can be seen on the shipping estimator on the shopping cart e.g. less than 5 KG in a courier "sack" £6.46 Between 5 and 15KG including all parcels under 5KG £7.05 )

City Link will attempt delivery twice before holding the delivery for collection at your local depot. This must be arranged by you at your cost. Failure to do so will result in your consignment being returned to us. You will be liable for the return charge at the same rate as your original delivery charge.You can of course arrange for re-shipping of your order. Please note we cannot ship to PO boxes or BFPO at this time. We are happy to ship to a friend or relative (UK Mainland) in respect of BFPO so that they can then send the parcel on. Note we will not supply a customs mandate and will not be responsible for any goods once they have arrived at their uk desination.

Despatch

Your order will normally be despatched the same day if we receive it before 1pm Monday to Friday and it is a stock item.
You will receive an email notifying you of the despatch.
We will of course do our very best to ensure that orders received after 1pm are also despatched the same day but where this is not possible your order will be despatched the next working day.
Please assist our couriers by ensuring the delivery address given is accurate with the full postcode and include a contact phone number where possible.

Not withstanding the above please allow 5 full working days for delivery.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you have to return any products to us you should be aware of the following.

Please email support@4wheelplay.co.uk with any problems. You will be allocated a ticket number from our help desk on receipt of your email. This helps us both to have a record of events. We always answer emails in the order they are received and as soon as practicable.
All items are covered by our RTB warranty (unless stated otherwise) RTB = Return To Base (Customer is responsible for return carriage costs). We are not liable for any carriage costs in returning the goods for inspection.

Please return using either Royal Mail Signed For or Courier who offers signed for consignments.

Please ensure you obtain a certificate of posting (this is free of charge) which will serve as your proof of posting should Royal Mail mislay your parcel, we are only responsible for the goods after we receive them. This excludes items damaged in transit, these will be replaced at no cost to you. We will refund reasonable return postage costs on FAULTY items that are returned to us within 14 days of purchase. NOTE: We will not refund any return postage costs for any items shipped outside the UK.

We only accept returns clearly labelled with a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number on the OUTSIDE of the package. Please contact us for an RMA number before returning any goods. The RMA number request can be created by logging onto the site with your account details the going to your order history and then order information. There against each item you have purchased you will see a button labelled 'return this product'. Using this button and and being as specific as possible with your problem will ensure matters are sorted as soon as practicable. RMA's are issued for specific products only. Please do not send other items not covered by the RMA. Any returned packages that do not clearly display a valid RMA number will be refused, as will packages received over 14 days from RMA issue date.

Damaged Goods:

You should inspect the goods when you receive them for any damage. If the package you receive looks like it may be damaged or has been tampered with you should refuse the package or mark the courier’s sheet to show this (if you do sign to accept the package).If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you then we will replace or refund the price paid note that we require 5 working days to process your return and if a refund is requested the banking system in the UK can take up to 5 working days for funds to appear in your account. If you find any damages you must inform us by telephone on 0845 466 0747 within 24hrs (preferably immediately on the same day you receive them). We will make a note of the order number when you phone. You will need to send an email to returns@4wheelplay.co.uk listing any damages/shortages. We will try to resolve this ASAP. We cannot be held responsible for damages reported after 48hrs of receipt.Clearance Items: Clearance items are exempt from any warranty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Items ordered in error and or do not fit your vehicle:

You may return any item to us in its original condition, unused and within its original packaging unopened with all ancillaries and instruction manuals within 7 days of receipt. Your refund minus any shipping costs incurred will be fulfilled as soon as the item is inspected. Once goods are examined and you will be refunded minus the original carriage charge incurred by us notwithstanding if you selected and free delivery options. Shipping charges will only be charged at cost. Items to be returned as ordered in error must be marked with an RMA number in the same respect as any faulty items. (See Above). Items returned in this manner should be returned using a signed for delivery service so that proof of postage/delivery is obtained. No shipping costs will be refunded. In respect of swapping an item ordered in error, this will be treated as a brand new order and all shipping charges and purchase charges will apply in full in respect of the new item.

Please allow us 5 working days to process your return. All return activity will be held in the account history against your order.
