If you have purchased the product you have got the most up to date Glass Scratch Repair System on the market today. Liquid Glass uses Cerium Oxide which is a rare earth mineral and is the only effective solution known to polish glass effectively.
Rapid Autocare have not re-invented the wheel with polishing glass, what they have done is improve it so that it can be used ready mixed without the need for a costly specialist repair. Now, make no mistake glass is a tough product and don't be fooled into thinking that a quick wipe with liquid Glass will repair scratches instantly. If you are using the hand kit it will take a lot of elbow grease to polish out light scratches and marks on glass. For automotive solutions Rapid Autocare has produced a professional kit which will require a drill to speed up the polishing process.
Everything else in the kit is included along with comprehensive instructions. Both kits will repair light scratches and marks on automotive and domestic glass including glass furniture. A general rule of thumb for the depth of scratches that Liquid Glass can deal with is if your finger nail gets caught in the scratch then it is probably too deep for an effective repair. In theory you could repair the glass however it would take a huge amount of time and the glass would probably be warped when completed. This would not be an acceptable situation on a car windscreen for example.
Scratches caused by damaged wiper blades and grit caught in door window rubbers are the type of repairs suited to Liquid Glass.
