Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection is an extra tough, protective sealant that contains a complex blend of hard resins and waxes. Treated surfaces are protected with a super-tough finish to keep paintwork looking brilliant for longer. This durable deep gloss film is suitable for all types of automobile paintwork, including metallic, clearcoats and water based finishes.

Unlike a polish, it contains no cleaning or polishing agents and should only be used on clean, dry, blemish-free paintwork, ideally pre-treated with Autoglym Super Resin Polish. The resultant highly durable, deep gloss finish provides an extra tough barrier against most environmental conditions.

Submited By: Jack Kemp on 09/06/2008 Let's get one thing straight - I'm not one to write a review for a product that does what it is advertised to do. After all, I expect something to do exactly what is says on the label. However, this stuff is something else ... I cleaned my car using a lambswool mitt and the two bucket method. Dried the car with micro fibre towels and applied super resin polish first. Already the car looked excellent (Panther Black does look nice when clean), but then I applied a layer of this stuff. It's very watery and you don't need much. After leaving for a few hours (yes, leave for 3 or 4 if you can), I buffed it off. It's hard work if the layer is thick, so be warned. Also, I used the Auto Glym finishing cloth to pick up the dust residue, as the particles seem to become charged with static and can be awkward to get off. The finishing cloth picks it all up beautifully. The finish? Stunning. If I could upload pictures, you'd be astounded. The pictures would do it absolutely no justice at all though. In the flesh, it looks superb - as new in fact! Worth every penny. I looked from a head-on angle and thought I had dust all over my car, but it was in fact the flecks of metallic silver in the Panther Black paint. Fantastic! If you use SRP, get some of this too. You won't be disappointed.

I have used this product for years and found you can still put this on in full sun and get a fantastic shine. Leave it for the time given and on return it just buffs up beautifully, then watch the rain just flow away. Great price, well done 4wheelplay
